Whist I was in France recently, I indulged in a great conversation about musical excess - sparked in particular by a mutual love of Stanley Clark & George Duke's epic performance of School Days on The Old Grey Whistle Test. I'll spare you the proper introduction and just suggest you keep an eye peeled for the explicit musical foreplay between Stan & George that goes on...well throughout the entire piece actually.

The second beauty was recommended to me in light of the previous video - again from The Old Grey Whistle Test, this time Edgar Winter takes a far more onanistic approach - moving from gratuitous Arp Solo, to belting Sax solo to...well disappointing drum solo. Still, you have to admire the ambition.
